# The Story of Knaplund

Since 2015, we have renovated and rebuilt Knaplund — an old school that was built in 1906. Over 100 years it has been built for, demolished and rebuilt. The place has been everything from a school and assembly house to a residence and an ephemeral school — and has undergone some changes.

The common denominator is that there has always been plenty of activity. We intend to continue that. Now Knaplund becomes a micro-distillery as well as a holiday & training centre.

We are the ones who want to realize the dream and create the framework for it at Knaplund, which we took over in 2015. We invest everything we have in it — and we look forward to inviting you inside. We have been on inspiration trips to the USA and we have brought home the best, seasoned it with West Jutland. A flavor combination we love so much.

Knaplund Distilleri opens its doors for a very special evening during the Food Meeting 2026. Here you can experience true ranch atmosphere with BBQ scents in the air, live country music and exciting flavors.

- We start the season on a Saturday. We open the gate for the morning fresh ones at 10 - 11 with coffee on the jug and rolls.

We give it a little extra gas on the occasion of the 4th of July — and do events throughout the day. We finish with fireworks.

HENRIK & THE ROOTS play an acoustic, roots- and americana-inspired music that draws on elements of **americana, country, blues, folk, and bluegrass**.Their sound often has a *Nashville-like* vibe, with the audience feeling consigned to the Southern states.

**TICKET: CONCERT INCL BBQ**

- The bar is open from 17.00
- Ink Welcome Cocktail
