Friday, Aug 29: BBQ night w/ Dr Diesel

BBQ night w/ cocktail & live concert DR DIESEL plays the tent up with amazing music. Dr. Diesel is a professional recreational band, where they give it gas on stage. Two lead singers as well as choirs from everyone in the band, move people up from the chairs until well into the night, where the tent “boils” A bold mix of rock'n roll seasoned with, among others, Jonah Blacksmith, John Mogensen, Johnny Madsen, Free, CCR, Gasolin, Queen, Prince, Wormwood, AC/DC, Teddy Bear, Volbeat, DAD, Poul Krebs, Ray dee ooh, and many more... Dennis shares his best barbecue tips while enjoying grilled longhorn meat with cowboy butter, delicious side dishes and sourdough bread from Gaardbageren in Højmark. Peter Hedegård from Better Drinks is behind the shaker with refreshing long drinks with his own syrups and Knaplund spirits. And as the icing on the cake, Hvedegaard Bondegårdsis provides a sweet finish with ice cream flavors created especially for the occasion with the distillery's own drops. About Knaplund Destilleri

The Story of Knaplund

Since 2015, we have renovated and rebuilt Knaplund — an old school that was built in 1906. Over 100 years it has been built for, demolished and rebuilt. The place has been everything from a school and assembly house to a residence and an ephemeral school — and has undergone some changes. The common denominator is that there has always been plenty of activity. We intend to continue that. Now Knaplund becomes a micro-distillery as well as a holiday & training centre. Bag Knaplund Distillery We are the ones who want to realize the dream and create the framework for it at Knaplund, which we took over in 2015. We invest everything we have in it — and we look forward to inviting you inside. We have been on inspiration trips to the USA and we have brought home the best, seasoned it with West Jutland. A flavor combination we love so much.
