Hear how we turned a former after-school into a prize-winning distillery — preferably with a little twist and always with a twinkle in the eye. You will come inside the distillery itself — and we have selected a few tastings for you. About Knaplund Destilleri

The Story of Knaplund

Since 2015, we have renovated and rebuilt Knaplund — an old school that was built in 1906. Over 100 years it has been built for, demolished and rebuilt. The place has been everything from a school and assembly house to a residence and an ephemeral school — and has undergone some changes.

The common denominator is that there has always been plenty of activity. We intend to continue that. Now Knaplund becomes a micro-distillery as well as a holiday & training centre.

We are the ones who want to realize the dream and create the framework for it at Knaplund, which we took over in 2015. We invest everything we have in it — and we look forward to inviting you inside. We have been on inspiration trips to the USA and we have brought home the best, seasoned it with West Jutland. A flavor combination we love so much.
